As Director of Communications, Anita collects and organizes information for use across the organization. Her contributions can be found in every corner of the organization and are essential to NADIA’s development of solutions-based content. 

 

Anita Gosevska (she/her/hers)

Director of Communications

Anita Gosevska is a clarinetist, educator, researcher, and advocate from Galloway, New Jersey. She is 21 years old and currently pursuing bachelors’ degrees in Clarinet Performance and in Music Education at Rutgers University - Mason Gross School of the Arts.

Anita is a member of the Rutgers Symphony Orchestra and Rutgers Wind Ensemble. As a member of the Rutgers Symphony Orchestra, she has performed under the baton of Michael Adelson, Tong Chen, Kynan Johns, and other renowned conductors. She has performed in an independent woodwind quintet that performed predominantly French repertoire–including the works of Poulenc, Taffanel, and Francaix–and has won two Rutgers chamber competitions. Anita has played solo works in masterclasses for Anthony McGill, Ricardo Morales, Alessandro Carbonare, Jan Jakob Bokun, Alexander Bedenko, and The Exponential Ensemble.

Aside from performing and teaching, Anita is the Executive Researcher of the National Arts Diversity Integration Association, a non-profit organization based in New York City dedicated to coordinating the research, development, and implementation of industry-wide anti-discriminatory practices. Anita is also the Fellow and Co-Entrepreneurial Lead of a Rutgers I-Corps Initiative working towards the development of a music ecosystem that is more engaging, collaborative, equitable, and accessible by bridging the gap between people who love making music and people who love listening to music.

Some of Anita’s honors include the 2020 Anna Cramer Scholarship Award for Music Performance and a nomination for the Rutgers College Class of 1962 Presidential Public Service Award.
